Balanced Man Program

The Balanced Man Program is Sigma Phi Epsilon's Member Development program which offers a no-hazing, no-pledging model. We strive to implement the Sound Mind in a Sound Body principle. Part of our responsibility is encouraging and challenging brothers to be the best academically and athletically. Additionally, we hold a responsibility to keep our brothers involved in extracurricular activities at Alabama. Incorporated in the Balanced Man Program are chapter retreats, leadership programs, guest speakers, mentorship, and other engaging events. The Balanced Man Program has assisted us in remaining the academically best fraternity on campus. Alabama Beta achieved a 3.51 average GPA in the Fall 2016 semester, much higher than the all fraternity average of 2.97 and the all campus average of 3.07. Additionally, the Balanced Man Program has aided us in intramural sports success. Our basketball, football, and soccer intramural teams all had great success in recent years, and we look forward to the continued athletic success of our brothers. The brothers of Sigma Phi Epsilon take great pride in their achievements and never forget the hard work that got them there.
